Dr. Jason R. Lewis

CEO & Founder

Dr. Jason Lewis is a 2007 graduate of Clemson University’s PhD in computer science program. After graduation he entered law enforcement, first in Atlanta, Georgia and then Denver, Colorado. While in Denver, Dr. Lewis served on the Colorado Electronic Crimes Task Force, which was hosted by the United States Secret Service.

After medically retiring from law enforcement in 2013, Dr. Lewis returned to academia at the University of Colorado Denver, where he designed their first certificate in digital forensics program. In 2015 Dr. Lewis moved to the United States Virgin Islands where he took an appointment with the University of the Virgin Islands’ Department of Computer & Computational Sciences program as an assistant professor. During Dr. Lewis’ three years at the University of the Virgin Islands he ushered in the University’s first degree in cybersecurity and designed the program’s five foundational courses.

Dr. Lewis took a position with the University of South Florida’s Department of Computer Science & Engineering in August of 2018, with the task of helping to lead their new cybersecurity bachelor’s program. In August 2020 Dr. Lewis joined the faculty of Florida Southern College as their new cybersecurity faculty member within the Department of Computer Science.

Timothy Lewis

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Timothy Lewis, directly following graduation from high school in 1998, joined the United States Army as an enlisted military police officer. Upon graduation from basic training, Mr. Lewis volunteered for parachute duty and assignment with the distinguished 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. During his assignment at Fort Bragg, Mr. Lewis quickly rose in rank to become a Junior Non-commissioned Officer serving in various roles and leadership positions involving training, professional development, and mentorship of subordinate soldiers. He deployed overseas in support of both peacekeeping operations within Egypt and South Korea, and combat operations within Afghanistan and Iraq. During these deployments, Mr. Lewis worked with multinational partners and host nations’ military to develop and implement civilian law enforcement programs.

In 2004 Mr. Lewis volunteered to attend the Assessment and Selection Program for the U.S. Army Special Forces. Upon being selected, he attended the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, where he graduated in 2006. He was then assigned to the 3rd Special Forces Group with continued assignment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Through-out his tenure with Special Forces, spanning 2006 to 2022, Mr. Lewis held multiple Special Operation specialties: Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant, Special Forces Operations Sergeant, and Special Forces Warrant Officer.

Mr. Lewis deployed numerous times overseas to both combat theaters and contested regions in which he trained foreign military forces, led tactical level combat operations, and served in liaison roles within multiservice, multinational, and multigovernmental environments.

Mr. Lewis served in additional duty roles throughout his military career providing organizational functions such as: human resources, budget and accounting, contract development and oversight, knowledge management and information technology, and program manager.

Upon retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer – 3 from the U.S. Army in 2022, after 24 years of service, Mr. Lewis joined CyForce providing his years of experience and expertise in Federal Government interactions and Veteran knowledge.
