Dr. Jason R. Lewis
CEO & Chief Forensic Officer
Jason holds a Ph.D. in computer science. While completing his dissertation, he lost his younger brother to violence, an event that profoundly changed the course of his life.
Rather than remain in academia, he chose to enter law enforcement, determined to apply his skills in a way that could help prevent similar tragedies for others.
He started as a patrol officer and later served as a computer crimes investigator on the U.S. Secret Service’s Colorado Electronic Crimes Task Force.
Here, he received advanced digital forensics training and learned firsthand the importance of collecting and preserving digital evidence the right way the first time.
After leaving active duty, Jason continued to support the Task Force as an academic consultant and later taught cybersecurity and digital forensics at multiple universities.
In 2014, he founded CyForce to help legal teams apply law-enforcement-grade forensic expertise to their cases. Today, he continues to train investigators worldwide in advanced digital forensics.

Their team broke down complex concepts in clear, accessible language that resonated with the jury.
